Pests We Don't Treat (And Why)
We believe in being upfront. Our natural treatment works brilliantly on crawling insects, but some pests need a different approach. Here's what we don't do, why, and what we recommend.
Rats & Mice
Limited Service AvailableWe don't do traditional rodent trapping or poison baiting. Rodent control requires a fundamentally different skill set — tracking movement patterns, sealing entry points in building infrastructure, and ongoing monitoring that goes beyond what our natural treatment provides.
What we can do
We can set glue traps in your home and handle the removal for you. If you're squeamish about dealing with trapped rodents — we get it. Book a treatment and mention rats or mice in the notes, and we'll place glue traps during our visit and come back to remove anything we catch.
Our recommendation
For serious rodent problems, we recommend contacting a dedicated pest control company that specialises in rodent exclusion. They can seal entry points, set mechanical traps, and monitor activity long-term.
Termites
Not Our ServiceThis is one area where we have to be honest: to really eliminate a termite colony, you need chemical treatment. Termites live deep inside wood structures and underground, where natural treatments simply cannot reach effectively.
Diatomaceous earth can kill individual termites on contact, but a termite colony can number in the millions. The queen is buried deep in the nest and constantly producing new workers. Without a systemic chemical treatment that spreads through the entire colony, you're only scratching the surface.
Our recommendation
For termites, you need a specialist with chemical baiting systems or soil treatment. We'd rather send you to the right company than promise something we can't deliver. Look for a provider that offers a termite warranty with annual inspections.
Mosquitoes
Limited Service AvailableMosquitoes are a fact of life in Bangkok's tropical climate, and no one can promise to eliminate them from your home — they fly in from everywhere. Any company that guarantees a mosquito-free home is overpromising.
Chemical fogging provides temporary relief but the mosquitoes return within days. The real solution is reducing what attracts and breeds them in the first place.
What we can do
We can inspect your property to identify and help remove mosquito breeding spots — standing water in plant saucers, clogged drains, unused containers, and other areas where water collects. Removing breeding sites is the most effective long-term mosquito reduction strategy, and we're happy to do this during any of our regular treatment visits.
Geckos
Our PhilosophyThis might surprise you, but we actually think geckos are on your side.
Both the small house geckos (jing-jok) and the large Tokay geckos are voracious insect eaters. They feed on cockroaches, ants, mosquitoes, moths, spiders, and nearly every pest that we treat naturally. A single Tokay gecko can eat dozens of cockroaches a week. They're nature's own pest control.
We don't believe in removing an animal that's actively solving the same problem you're hiring us for. That's working against nature instead of with it.
Our approach: remove the food, and they'll move on
If geckos are in your home, it's because there's a food source — insects. When we eliminate the insects with our natural treatment, the geckos lose their reason to stay. They'll gradually move on to find food elsewhere. No trapping, no chemicals, no harm. The problem solves itself.
This is what we mean by working with nature, not against it. It's the same philosophy behind our entire approach to pest control.
What We Do Best
Our natural treatment eliminates these pests safely, without toxic chemicals.
