What Our Customers Say
Bangkok's Centipede Problem
Centipedes are one of the most feared household pests in Bangkok. These fast-moving creatures thrive in Bangkok's humid climate, especially during the rainy season. They enter homes through drains, gaps under doors, cracks in walls, and around plumbing — seeking moisture and the smaller insects they feed on.
While most Bangkok centipedes are not dangerous, their bites can be painful and cause swelling. The Vietnamese centipede, commonly found in Bangkok, can grow up to 20cm long and delivers a particularly painful bite. Chemical sprays are ineffective against centipedes because they hide in deep cracks and only come out at night.
How We Eliminate Centipedes Naturally
Entry Point Inspection
We identify how centipedes are entering your home — drains, gaps under doors, wall cracks, plumbing penetrations, and ventilation openings. We also check for moisture problems that attract them.
Targeted DE Application
We apply food-grade diatomaceous earth along baseboards, around drains, in bathroom and kitchen crevices, and at all identified entry points. DE damages the centipede's exoskeleton, causing fatal dehydration.
Barrier Creation
We create DE barriers at entry points and along paths centipedes use to move through your home. This provides ongoing protection even after the initial treatment.
Prevention Advice
We advise on reducing moisture, sealing gaps, and eliminating the smaller insects centipedes feed on. Reducing their food source and entry points provides long-term prevention.

Common Centipede Species in Bangkok
We identify and treat all centipede species found in Bangkok homes.
Vietnamese Centipede
The largest centipede commonly found in Bangkok homes, growing up to 20cm. Dark brown to reddish-brown with yellow legs. They deliver a painful bite that causes swelling and discomfort. Usually found in bathrooms, kitchens, and damp ground-floor areas.
House Centipede
Light yellowish-gray with long striped legs. Smaller (3-5cm) and very fast-moving. They are actually beneficial as they eat cockroaches and other insects, but most people find them disturbing. Common in Bangkok condos and apartments, especially in bathrooms.
Stone Centipede
Small brown centipedes (2-4cm) found in damp areas around Bangkok homes. They prefer hiding under pots, stones, and in garden areas but can enter ground-floor units. Less dangerous than Vietnamese centipedes but still unwelcome indoors.

Centipede Control FAQ
Most Bangkok centipedes can bite if handled, but bites are not medically serious for most people. The Vietnamese centipede delivers the most painful bite, causing localized swelling and pain similar to a bee sting. Our treatment eliminates them so you don't have to worry.
Centipedes enter condos through drains, gaps around pipes, and ventilation systems. They're attracted to moisture and the smaller insects (cockroaches, ants, silverfish) they feed on. Bathrooms and kitchens are their most common entry points. Our treatment targets these areas specifically.
Our DE treatment creates long-lasting barriers at entry points that continue killing centipedes for weeks after application. Combined with sealing gaps and reducing moisture, most homes remain centipede-free for months. We recommend maintenance treatment every 4-6 months.
Often yes — centipedes feed on cockroaches, ants, silverfish, and other small insects. If you're seeing centipedes, there may be other pests attracting them. Our treatment eliminates centipedes along with the other pests they feed on, solving multiple problems at once.
